Happy Valentines Day everyone! I love this holiday. Not so much for the typical aspects of it, because truth be told I'm a fairly frugal one and I just can't see the point in spending lots of money on flowers and candy. However I do love something about Valentines Day cards. I always have. Even back in grade school Valentines Day was my favorite holiday to celebrate at school. I loved picking out the perfect note for the perfect person and delivering it to their Valentines Box....or....lucky Mr. Christopher Anderson in 5th grade....he got the special homemade Valentine from me, his secret admirer. Hmmm...I wonder if he ever figured out who that was from? :)
Anyhow, today's Steal, the Die Cuts With A View Card Kits, are the perfect "go to" when making cards. Hands down I cannot say enough good about having these cards on hand. I love that they are pre-cut to the perfect size and have an envelope included. No more cutting down expensive sheets of cardstock that could be used on a layout, in order to create a card!
For this weeks Monday Card Madness, rather than providing a sketch, your challenge is to create a Valentine for a loved one and let them know how important they are to you.
I took a stroll through our Facebook Fan Page, and gathered up all of the Valentines / Love cards that I could find as of recent to share with you here to use as inspiration. (Just hover over the card to see the name of the talented designer.)
Now I know that you are all waiting on pins and needles to find out who the lucky winner of the We R Memory Keepers Cinch Bundle giveaway is.
Our lucky winner is comment poster number 12.
Kyla Dawn Norris!
Congrats Kyla! If you will send your address to firstname.lastname@example.org, we will get it sent to our wonderful friends at We R Memory Keepers and they will get your Cinch sent out to you.
Just a reminder to make sure you post your creations to our Facebook Fan Page or personal blog, along with a link here in the comments in order to be eligible for our monthly Monday Card Madness drawing.
Also be sure to check in tomorrow for part two of our amazing organization How To'sday!
Happy Valentines Day. <3
