Turquoise – Layout 4
It's confession time -- I admit, I'm currently kind of having a love affair with Mr. Huey. I guess in this instance what my husband doesn't know, won't hurt him as Mr. Huey's mists have brought a huge creative boost to my creating. Add to the fact that today I get to use Mr. Huey's Mists and Masks makes me feel almost like I should be considerate and clue my husband in on my little affair. But then again, I don't think he'd really care one way or the other with the exception that I really, kinda, sorta need all of the Mr. Huey's colors. He just got paid. He won't mind, right?
I am so excited about today's steals. I had a hard time deciding which masks to use but given my current addiction to chevorns and banners I decided to come up with a layout using both of them. (I know, please don't hate me for banners again). :)
For the banner I used the negative template, misted the paper then did a little fussy cutting off the bottom, then added it to my page. The chevron template was laid on top of my paper then I misted the entire sheet and cut out portions of the hexagon print.
I had SO much fun making this layout as the fun colors of mists opened up a huge door for incorporating embellishments from lots of different manufacturers. I even managed to use some letter stickers that I've had in my stash since around 2003 and had never used!
Yup, It's a love affair. Our little secret okay?
Now it's that time where I love being able to select our random winner for the week! It's such a great time to brush up on the layouts that I may have missed. This week our lucky winner is Cristine Redmond!

And now for that moment that you have hopefully all been waiting for. The announcement of our Summer Term Design Team. First off let me just say that it was not an easy decision and there was a lot of thought and reasoning behind the decision made. However that doesn't mean that we don't wish we could have each and every one of our many magnificent applicants as a part of the team! It was true delight to see the projects come flooding in and to take some time to check everyone out! Thanks to each and every one of you for making our premier open call a huge success. Now I'd better be seeing LOTS of re-applicants when the time comes up! Hugs to you all.
Now without further adieu please join me in welcoming to our Summer 2012 Design Team
I don't know about you all but I'm very excited to see these ladies take turns rocking the house each Friday with the exception of our blog hop weekends!
