Peridot– Week 9 of 10
New to Mid Week Mojo? Get started here!
With today's steal you can create fancy corners, edges, and borders. The We R Memory Keepers Mini 8 Punch Set includes four different punches: two Mini 8 corner punches and two Two Edge punches. You can trim your paper to any size and punch all the way around. Make the layers on your projects just a little fancier by using these punches around the edges. I had a blast creating this week's Mid Week Mojo, the punches are so easy to use. We had a request through our Facebook Fan Page for a double-page layout using multiple photos and here is what I came up with:
Here's the sketch:
The Mini 8 Punch and Double Edge Punch were perfect to create a seamless design around the edges of my cardstock.
I created a layer of cardstock for my title, of course punching the edges. I used the American Crafts DIY Thickers to create the 'Disneyland" portion of the title. I used micro beads on the letters for a little dimension and shine.
A few more dimensional stickers and journaling added to the layouts for a finishing touch:
So this week, create one side of the sketch:
or the other side of the sketch:
...or do both for two entries for this week's drawing. I am kind of in love with these We R Memory Keepers punches, I can't wait to try the second set from today's steal.
